OUR FALL 2014 "PLANT EVERYTHING" SALE IS UNDERWAY!
SALE DATE IS OCTOBER 11 from 9am to 1pm. Come early for Browse N Buy extras! Please note the later start time for the pickup date!
Where did the summer go? It was a marathon year for growing plants, nice cool weather and plenty of rain. In the Fall, our sales are combined into one event to jump start your planting for spring. We have favorites back, and new selections for you to try. Notably, we are offering an American Cranberry Vine, a great ground cover for those difficult areas with little sun. Also available is Snowberry; give both a try! For those new to ordering, our plants are sold bare-root, saving peat and plastic. Pick your site carefully, check the Species Information link below to make your choices. Plan to plant ASAP after receiving your order, and keep the seedlings moist and out of the direct sun. Read our newsletter (below) for more details, and if you have any questions, please feel free to call or email.
We are again offering a Native Plant workshop with our grower, Vern Stephens, presenting. Vern is a great resource and is happy to answer your questions. His presentations are colorful and informative, join us on October 1 from 6:30-8pm at our offices at 3260 Eagle Park Dr. Please RSVP for this workshop to reserve your seat by calling 616.942.4111 x 4 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. There is a nominal $5 workshop fee, payable at the door. The office will be busy preparing for our sales, so please leave a message with your contact info and number of people attending if you are unable to reach us personally. Thank you for everyone’s support, it is exciting to see this important gardening trend grow and grow!
