INVASIVE SPECIES AND HERBICIDE USE  - 03.23.2018
Correct use is essential to ensure that chemical residues on plants do not exceed the limits set by law. Recommended herbicides do not generally injure people, livestock, wildlife, or crops if used properly and if recommended precautions are observed. However, any herbicide is potentially dangerous if improperly handled or used.
Learn more than basic pesticide safety procedure. Make sure that you are familiar with current federal and state pesticide laws and regulations Friday, March 23rd.
Participants will review best management practices and have treatment scenarios roll played. Topics will include road side inspections, new regulations, strike team and contractor need to know and early detection invasive species identification. Earn CEUs. Featured guest speaker is State Inspector, Jennifer Reay and MSU Department of Entomology
