Your conservation district offers native plant presales in the spring and fall where you can purchase online Michigan native trees, shrubs and wildflowers via our online link below.  Additional educational resources are also found on the native plants webpage.

The Spring 2024 Wildflower Pre-Order is now closed! If you missed the pre-order deadline plan to join the large multi-grower BROWSE ‘N BUY event on Saturday, May 25th 10-3pm.

Trees: Pre-order bare root tree and shrub seedlings orders are closed. There will be potted trees and shrubs at the May 25th sale. April’s tree/shrub seedlings (6-24 inches tall) are available in bundles of 5, 10, 25, and more (up to 1,000) of each species. All seedlings are bare root, which means there is no soil surrounding the roots when you receive them, and they are ready to go in the ground as soon as you pick them up. A limited amount of extra stock may be available for sale during pickup days. Extra stock is sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Questions: KCD@MACD.org or (616) 222-5846.

Wildflowers: Pre-order a wide selection of potted native plants online now until April 20th order deadline) for pickup (timeslots) on Saturday, May 25th from 10-3pm. Large Orders of Bare Root Seedlings

Interested in a large order of bare root seedlings? Connect with us via email at KCD@MACD.org to find out about ordering bundles of 100 or 500 seedlings. Availability is based on supplier availability. 

Terms & Refund Policies

  • Kent Conservation District (KCD) does not guarantee seedling or plant survival. Customer assumes liability when the order is picked up.
  • KCD reserves the right to issue a voucher (good for one year) or cancel orders and refund payments due to reasons beyond our control such as supplier availability.
  • Orders must be picked up during pickup date and time. If unable to pick up an order, you are responsible for making other arrangements. If not picked up, orders will be considered cancelled, payment will be forfeited, and orders will be donated.

Pickup: Saturday, April 20th, 10 am to 3 pm at 3600 Eagle Park Drive NE (corner of Leonard & Beltline). Seedlings are small enough to fit in the back of your car. Bring boxes or wagon to carry your wildflower browse and buy plants in and coverings to protect your car.
