Landscaping: American Mountain Ash is a small deciduous.  Showy white flowers appear in spring followed by clusters of bright red berries.  Green leaves change to a golden color in the fall.

Wildlife: Birds enjoy eating the berries.

Economic: Ripen berries have been used in jams and jellies.
