Short’s Aster is a flowering plant similar to daisy-like flowers that bloom in the fall. This native plant can grow up to 6 feet fall and flowers with around 10-20 ray florist surrounding a yellow center disk. Short’s aster prefers fertile soil with medium to dry-mesic moisture conditions and it can tolerate harsh exposure in urban environments. It is deer resistant and suitable for tall shade gardens as well as wild areas.
